Ingredients

For the shrimp:

✅ 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
✅ 1 tbsp olive oil
✅ 1 tsp chili powder
✅ ½ tsp cumin
✅ ½ tsp garlic powder
✅ ½ tsp smoked paprika
✅ ¼ tsp salt
✅ ¼ tsp black pepper
✅ Juice of ½ lime

For the taco toppings:

✅ 1 cup shredded cabbage (green or purple)
✅ ½ cup diced tomatoes
✅ ¼ cup chopped cilantro
✅ ¼ cup crumbled cotija or feta cheese (optional)
✅ ½ avocado, sliced (optional)
✅ ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
✅ 1 tbsp lime juice
✅ ½ tsp hot sauce (optional)

For serving:

✅ 8 small corn or flour tortillas
✅ Lime wedges for garnish


Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the shrimp: In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

2️⃣ Cook the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

3️⃣ Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix sour cream (or Greek yogurt), lime juice, and hot sauce (if using). Set aside.

4️⃣ Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry pan or over an open flame for a few seconds on each side until warm and slightly charred.
